Enhancing Digital Presence: Web Services for 8 European Joint Undertakings

We are excited to share that Hypertech, as part of a consortium with European Service Network (ESN), has been awarded a four-year framework contract for the provision of web services to eight (8) European Joint Undertakings, under a Framework Service Contract managed by the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking (CAJU), as the Leading Contracting Authority.

The contract will support the digital presence of some of the EU’s key research and innovation partnerships:
•    Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking (CAJU)
•    Single European Sky ATM Research 3 Joint Undertaking (SESAR 3 JU)
•    European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU)
•    Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-RAIL)
•    Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU)
•    Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU)
•    Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking (GHEDCTP3 JU)
•    Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU)

The strategic impact

The websites of the Joint Undertakings are more than institutional websites. They are key communication channels for sharing programme updates, open calls, project results, news and events with members, partners, the European scientific and political communities, potential applicants and the general public.
For organisations working at the heart of Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem, a reliable and easy-to-use digital presence is more than a technical requirement. It is a key part of how they communicate their missions, engage with stakeholders and make complex information accessible to wider audiences.

Our areas of focus

The consortium will support the participating Joint Undertakings through a broad range of web services that strengthen the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of their websites and digital presence. This includes:
•    Providing website hosting, monitoring and service availability management.
•    Facilitating website measurement and performance reporting.
•    Carrying out corrective and evolutive website maintenance, including optimisation of metadata, SEO, accessibility and responsive design.
•    Developing and improving CMS features, website sections and new web pages.
•    Implementing security updates, patches and controlled deployment procedures.
•    Supporting content management, publishing, optimisation and priority website updates.
•    Assisting in newsletter production and management, including templates, distribution, segmentation and performance tracking.
•    Developing online communication assets and tools, including banners, infographics, multimedia elements, forms and campaign-related web content.
•    Providing technical support for online events and webinars.
•    Contributing to reporting, quality control and continuous improvement.
The consortium will help ensure that the Joint Undertakings’ websites remain reliable, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned with their communication needs.

Shaping the road ahead

Over the next four years, this collaboration will support the digital infrastructure behind some of the EU’s key research and innovation partnerships. By strengthening the websites and digital services of the participating Joint Undertakings, Hypertech and ESN will advance clearer communication, stronger stakeholder engagement and greater visibility for European research and innovation across Europe and beyond.
